What happened to the Sonic that'd blast The Offsprings from his Jeep's stereo after surfing a tasty wave, then pound back several cans of Mountain Dew cuz it's so RAD? What happened to the BLAST PROCESSING!?"
It's all gone. They shoulda stopped after "Sonic & Knuckles". All of the Sonic games after those sucked balls, and his 90's rad attitude is ruined thanks to a fuck ton of stupid sidekicks, lousy anime shit, and needlessly complicated story elements for something that boils down to 'Sonic running from point A and planting his foot in Robotnik's ass at point B'. That, and all the weirdy-beardy sick fucks on the internet that make fanfic crap and sexualized drawings of Sonic and crew that find a perfect harmony between gross and retarded.
Man, Mario never had this crap happen to him. He knew how to keep it together over the years. And HE went back to 2d side-scrolling fun when the 3d stuff became a bit lame.
